Best of Pajamas and Coffee 2009
13

First of all, thank you. Thanks for making this a great year by coming, reading, commenting, discovering I’m a psycho, and then coming back anyway. I love you guys. I really do.
Pajamas and Coffee blog traffic has gone up a quazillion* percent this year. It’s amazing. I basically had like 14 readers when the year started, and now I have about 10,000 a month of you guys or so. I’m blessed and very, very thankful. So, year in review, what were your top ten favorite posts this year?
Well judging by the comments/buzz/analytics, I give you (in no particular order) the
Pajamas and Coffee Best of 2009
1. 10 Reasons Why I’m a Crappy Mom
2. Fat Bitch
3. tie: Three Year Old Fan of Big Butts
and Weinis Anxiety
5. Use Your Powers for Good, Dooce**
6. And the Douchebag Awards Go To..
7. BlogWhore
8. Fitting In Is Totally Overrated
10. A Day in the Life: Of a Motherfucking Housewife
I feel like I notice like a sex, drugs and rock and roll-y kinda trend. Now these are READER faves, not necessarily my own picks, although there is some overlap. I will say my one pick for the blog post I wish people had read this year (written when I had like 14 readers, it has no comments- if you have a sec, please check it out!): Party in Hell.
Anyhoo, if you have a moment I’d love for you to chime in and add a comment to one of these posts, so I know you were here.
Or, please leave a comment now (interesting statistic: only about 10% of my readers leave comments! you sneaky 90% you!) and say Happy New Year and all, and let me know if you agree with these top 10, or if I missed your fave.
Or, if you wish I would talk about my tits more. Whatever.
All the very best to you in 2010 and as long as you’re here, I will be.
xoxo
*I suck at math.
** Closure note: Dooce has since taken down the “Monetizing the Hate” page and now has a “Community” page and, though I heard she was, ahem, less than pleased about my little ‘suggestion,’ she did in fact, donate some of the ‘hate’ money to charity. I’m glad.

LMAO @ the last part! Love it!
I’ll go check out your best of list
I haven’t been reading that long so I doubt I’ve read all of those.
Haven’t been lurking long, so I missed the “Party in Hell”. TOO funny! And yes, I’ll be there with you and Jon!
Well THANK YOU for creating such a fresh, funny take on moms and blogs. To be dramatic, I’ll say this: You give me a reason to go online.
These posts were a great way to start my day — thanks! Shit, now I have the giggles.
I think I only missed the first 4. I’ll have to catch up.
All the best for 2010!
Okay… let me get this straight… in 2009 you went from 14 readers a month to 10,000????
Well, let me just say – WAY TO FUCKING GO!!!!!! And, as one of the 10,000, rather than one of the 14, my 2009 has been ALL the better for it.
K
Just want to seriously say thanks to you guys for reading and commenting. YOU are why I am online! (sniff)
Stop by tomorrow for a big announcement of what’s coming up in 2010 here at Jammies and Java.
HAPPY 2010!
Well I’m a fairly new reader so I’ll look forward to checking out your posts while I’m driving the kids to school.
And I totally think 2010 should be completely Dooce-free.
Well written and well said. Really enjoyed. Happy new year. Or better yet; Java New Year!
I have read the majority of those. I like Better Gay than Grumpy. It might have been my first post to read and comment. It stands out in my head. I remember being sent over here by barefootfoodie. Quite possibly during the funniest blog contest. Where I fell in to your love triangle with barefootfoodie.
Now I am an avid stalker.
And I love it. And I am somewhat back to my normal level of stalki-ness. You are welcome.
I think better Gay than Grumpy was my fav. And thanks for having Kamryn over today
Awesome list! I found you via one of those & loved ya so much that I keep coming back for me
You rule.
I have to say that one of my favorite things this year was finding your blog. Well, that and getting my degree! Happy 2009 MaryMac, I will be hanging out with you in 2010!! Thank you for giving me laughs on days when I really really needed one, which was most of the time!!
