Can I get a HOLLAH!?!

I am really not even sure exactly why I took the National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) challenge, but I did. I’ve been wanting to post more, so maybe I thought this was a good way to jump in and that after posting 30 straight, posting more often but not every GD day would seem easier.

I hope you enjoyed my posts this month about random stuff like Sesame Street, Crappy Christmas Gifts, how I Want an RV and of course, the day I went all emo and ended up having stabby posts written about me. And I invented Free Shit Friday this month, too! That’s fun, yes?

My favorite post this month? Was A Day in the Life Of a Motherfucking Housewife, because interviewing Sally Brooks was tons of fun. Am planning to do more interviews here, now that Oprah quit and all.

What I would like to do from this point forward is post Mon-Fri, plus “Share a Blog Saturday”- I like the vibe of this because I love telling you guys about other cool blogs and all, yo. If there’s a day I don’t post, it’s cuz I can’t think of anything intelligible to say, or I have a sick kid, or whatevs, but you know what?

Biggest advantage of HoYoBloMo (I still like Whore Your Blog Month better) for me was the joyous discovery of scheduled posting on Wordpress. As in, you can sit and write 20 posts and set them up to run for the next 20 days. This means I can go away (twice a year, big whoop) and ‘take a break’ from blogging but still have posts run. I highly recommend it to you bloggy peeps!

In other blog news, I have hired @hermedia (who ROCKS!) to do a little blog redesign for me, optimizing for search engines and all the ads I’d have if I didn’t say ‘fucktard’ all the time and whatnot. I am hoping the sizzlier Pajamas and Coffee will debut in January. It’s sorta a resolution, I guess.

Thanks for all your comments this month which totally helped me get through the posting every day thing. Turns out my blogpost diarrhea is a more prominent condition than I had realized.
