Look. Do not go yelling at me on FB and Twitter about being Hallmarky and not snarky today. It’s ThanksFREAKINGgiving! And in honor of the holiday where we eat pumpkin pie with Cool Whip are thankful for stuff, I present the following list of things for which I am thankful.*

• my four awesome kids and their health
• my long-suffering husband and best friend
• my health. The blogging community has been brought together in the last week by a tragic event in the life of a popular blogger who’s really been in my prayers this week.
• my Victorian house (even though the paint is peeling and it costs a fortune to heat) and charming small town
• my zany, dysfunctional (but never boring) family- especially my mom’s giblet gravy, which I will really miss this year
• the girls who know me in real life (IRL) and love me anyway
• a great community of blogger friends I’ve met here at Pajamas and Coffee
• our Disney trip this week, because you can never go in the Haunted Mansion too many times
• the writing opportunites I’ve been given
• hopefully? the future success of Pajamas and Coffee. There are days when I think I should just not renew the url- (takes too much time doesn’t make any money), but then I remember how much a comment makes me smile and I realize how much I love it here. It’s home for me as a writer and so I’ll stick with it if you guys keep showing up to read which brings me to:
• my readers. I can’t thank you guys enough for coming here- any time that you do- whether you have read one post or 100, seeing that you’ve been here always makes my day.
